Coleman Family | A Family Story | Tuscarawas county family photographer

The Colemans drove nearly three hours one way to spend a half hour playing in the leaves with me. I still can't get over how awesome that is! My cousin Susan and her family are just adorable and so special to me. We grew up in a close-knit family, but we didn't see each other as much as some of our other cousins because of the distance. I am very thankful that we have the technology today to be present in one another's lives like we are now!

I think this was the brightest day of the whole fall season! We went to one of my favorite state parks-- a rather forgotten little area of Schoenbrunn Village in New Philadelphia. Most of the time, I try to steer my clients away from scheduling sessions at midday because with the sun overhead, there's such a deep contrast in the shadowing on the face and the shadows cast by trees and other structures are smaller. In this case, we had to do what we had to do. It was a challenge to shoot at 1pm, but I am happy with the results!
